This is a high-impact, 6-month contract with an immediate start, based in London. The Role: Drive the In-Car Experience This is a deep-dive, technical role where you will be instrumental in the ongoing development and enhancement of the platform's Android Auto integration. You will be directly responsible for delivering new features and ensuring a world-class experience for millions of users globally. Core Focus: Working hands-on with the Car App Library (CAL) to design, develop, and deliver robust in-car functionality. High Visibility: This role involves close technical collaboration with Google's dedicated automotive teams. Impact: Your work will land directly in modern vehicles worldwide. Required Candidate Profile We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer with demonstrated expertise in the projected experiences space. Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Android Developer. Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and implementing Modern Android Architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.). Specific, hands-on experience with Android Auto / Car App Library (CAL) is mandatory. Experience working effectively within a remote, cross-functional Agile team environment.Desirable (Strong Plus): Previous experience within the Automotive Industry (Infotainment Systems, Embedded Android).
